Lynne's Story: A Gamechanger After 25 Years of IBS
I've only been taking it for a matter of weeks but it has been a gamechanger for me and I hope as I continue with it, things will improve further....
"I have suffered from IBS since the late 90s and weirdly Professor Hunter was one of the first consultants I saw in Cambridge about my issue. There wasn't a lot to be done at the time so I have tried to manage it over the years - not eating garlic, onions, greens, cauliflower, broccoli, cow's milk - taking kefir, probiotics, prebiotics, sauerkraut - trying a gluten-free diet, FODMAP diet, low fibre diet - I've even had gut-related hypnotherapy but on the whole absolutely nothing really helped. I've had flare-ups which resulted in yet more consultants being involved, but basically I was always told it's IBS, nothing we can do, go away and get on with it. I am a healthy 71yr old who lives a fairly outdoor active life so you can imagine how inconvenient IBS is...

After yet another flare-up, about a month ago, I saw a different consultant in Cambridge, and he recommended I try JUVIA. Yet another gimmick I thought. But I have to be honest and there's no way of telling you my story without using terminology we don't like to use. I started taking this on 1st December and within a few days I noticed a difference in my stools - they were much more consistent. And within two weeks I also became more regular. I am still going 2-4 times a day but there is not the urgency, and it's consistent - at the moment I can cope with that as it's a great improvement on the past. So going from loose stools, constipation, irregular movements, urgency, leakage, wind, gurgling stomach to how I am at the moment, seems like a miracle. I've only been taking it for a matter of weeks but it has been a gamechanger for me and I hope as I continue with it, things will improve further. I've already recommended it to friends who suffer as I did."
